My suggestion is exactly as the title reads: It would open to door to many new possibilities if weather rocks were stackable.
For the sake of the thread, I’m going to call Rain, Sun, Hail and Sand primary weather conditions and Fog, Cloudy and Snowy secondary weather conditions.
My suggestion would be that a primary and secondary weather condition are stackable, for example: Rain + Fog, Sun + Cloudy, Hail + Snowy
And
A secondary and a secondary weather condition are stackable, for example: Snowy + Fog
Obviously two primary weather conditions together(Rain + Sun) could be over powered with the right team(and also break moves like weather ball and solar beam…) but I’m afraid that secondary conditions won’t be worth it by themselves, considering you’d probably need a clear rock/cloud niner anyway to use them effectively. This would also make gems more useful(see: dark gem??) and also add more value to the new weather rocks.
As if players don’t already have enough buffs… we need the dungeons/npcs to become more challenging before warranting even more buffs on the players side…
I await dungeons that actually push level 100s and their best items to the brink in terms of difficulty.
(Not to mention elite recruits that require something like, level 100, master *** rank, golden mask, friend bow and still only having a like 1-5% recruit rate with all that)
Each weather rock has it’s own particular potential. Even if stackable weather rocks were to exist, many players will all go out to get them, leaving typical weather rocks useless. Then the exertion and coding of the weather rocks would simply be a waste. Since the weather rocks are all different, many players like to put in effort to go out in search of them, and be happy about what they accomplish. (Now isn’t that much more adventurous?) It relies on the player on how they want to make things work regardless how helpful this would have been. Either hunt/buy a weather rock, or use moves!
I have obviously been misunderstood. The point of the suggestion is to use two different weather stones, not have two weather stones combined into one??
Example:
Vileplume holds Clear Rock, Dragonite holds Foggy Rock, Excadrill holds Smooth Rock. Giving the effect of foggy weather and sandstorm for the one user.
This is three individual pokemon using rocks, not some sort of combined god weather rock.
You obviously didn’t word this right the first time and that confused us all, and that’s ok. But don’t you think having more weather rocks to hold take up inventory space? Not to mention gems, family items, and other weather-related items. I think 1 rock being able to take effect is enough. (Since it functions that way).
