The Electrizer, the item that evolves Electabuzz into Electivire, can’t be obtained in the game, and I think it’s a very important item. For example, I have an Electabuzz and there aren’t any ways for evolve him into Electivire.
So I think that wild Elekids should drop this item like Aron drops Metal Coat, because it’s necessary for evolving Electabuzz.

Uhm, Aron however do not use Metal Coat to evolve. Electirizer is only needed to evolve one Pokémon. Also it doesn’t have other uses. Therefore if it is released, I think it should be released as an item obtained through a side quest or possibly bought/made off a vendor. So players who want it have to work for it.
Maybe introduce Magby and some of the other Pokémon evolved from exclusive items like that, and make a vendor or quest where you choose the item/reward depending on what you want.
Okay, one thing here I am not good with.
Not everyone here like Electivire. I only use him in my HGSS team because of Motor Drive.
The staff work hard, and they’re busy with other more important things. So what if you can’t evolve yet? Can you not wait at all? Electabuzz is nearly as good as Electivire.
Also, its not an important item, like Star said earlier. An important item is like an Oran Berry. We’d die often without Orans.
Electrizer isn’t available right now simply because there exists no dungeon that is fitting of its rarity. The level mark for the hardest of our (non event) dungeons is only around the late 20’s right now. When a dungeon appears later with some bigger challenges and burlier pokemon, that’s when you’ll probably see the opportunity to evolve a buff and burly pokemon of your own.
We actually have a ton of interesting items already made (Tight Belt, Mobile Scarf, X-Ray Specs, for example) that are fully functional yet sit in limbo right now simply because there’s no challenge that’s worthy of their usefulness.
WHAT. YOU MADE TIGHT BELT AND MOBILE SCARF AND YOU DIDN’T TELL?! BAD SPRINKO…Just kidding. I’m gonna enjoy being buff and burly.
Also…what is the use for X-Ray Specs, seeing as we do not have the mini-map from PMD? Does it just say the level like in PMU6?
