Tailwind Adjustment

I’ll try to be a little more clear with my statement.

Firstly, Heat Wave is another topic that isn’t related to this original argument. We’re talking about how Tailwind should boost movement speed, and how it could or could not be broken in PMU. Heat Wave and Tailwind do very different things, so I don’t feel like it’s fair to compare them.

My original point was not that “a lot of pokemon get it so it should be trash”, my point was that a lot of pokemon have access to it, so it’s a lot more accessible than a move like Beat Up, which could be argued to be just as powerful as a move, if not more. That means that players early on can have an advantage and completely speed through the rest of what PMU has to offer. This is a bit of a problem, where it kind of defeats the purpose of exploration in dungeons in general, since you’re just zooming through floors anyway. I mentioned this in an earlier post that I simply feel like it removes a lot of the early on difficulty that newer players may have.

I’m totally okay with them at least experimenting with it. I would agree that if they felt like it was something they needed to test out first, go ahead and see how well it would translate into the actual game.

And, I’ll say this again, not every move translates well in PMU like it would in the original series, so some changes must be done in order for the game to feel balanced.

Not the original one, but you brought up clearing

But given it has 20 votes for and only one against

I honestly think it is worth experimenting with, considering this is one of the most voted on things on these forums. (The other number of votes are low, but they only even showed up more than a whole month after this suggestion was made, and aren’t even supposed to be there) and if we both agree that it’s worth experimenting with I see no need to further debate this until it’s changed, and I appreciate you voicing your concerns about it.
