Hello my name is Rayquaza011 or… Kyorgre now
Anyways I’m always in TC and I keep seeing a lot of my guild members and it is quite annoying because if there on a key floor then one of us has to give up.I’m not saying it happenes all of the time but it will be a lot better if guild link was disabled.
I completely disagree. Guilds help, a lot. If you"re stuck in some form of a Monster House on say, floor 50, and guild members are close, they could help. Guilds add to the challenge too. If you don"t like it, there is a simple resolution: Leave your guild.
Being from the opinion of someone who avoids popularized guilds as to never run into this kind of situation, I don’t think shutting down guild link is the proper solution. While it does have its cons, such as your predicament, there are also pros to it as like blood said with saving guild mates which I think is a rather unique function and would rather not dismiss. That said, I’m not implying this system doesn’t need tweaking. It should not be so that someone is not allowed to enjoy a guild because some function of it hinders the rest of his experience on the game. In my opinion I think there should be an option, like some sort of on and off setting, that allows persons of a guild to choose whether or not they want other guildmates privy to their dungeon runs. Seems like a more win win situation than just shutting the thing off.
I haven’t played PMU in a while, so I don’t know much about the Guild Link mechanics, but is it possible if:
• You and your guildmate are heading towards the same floor.
• Keep in touch with said guildmate and make sure only one of you goes ahead.
• Once you or your friend has left the floor in question, then then other person can proceed.
If you don’t like the Guild Link function, why be in a Guild? o:
As previously mentioned by Kaen and Blood, it can come in handy when you have teammates to save!
Hm… It might be possible there could be an option in the Pelipper’s Office, when speaking to Wigglytuff, you could have an option like “See Members in Dungeon” with an on/off switch. That would be sufficient enough.
Like the others said though, it does add variety to exploring with a team. So to remove it completely would be quite destructive as it would take away what really makes the guild. It’s not for bragging rights and to have a title on the top of your head above your name. :/
To be honest, I have mixed opinions about this… sure, it can get quite annoying when you meet someone in your guild and there on a high floor therefore you need to start again, but It’s fun!
To be honest, I don’t think Guild Link needs to be disabled in any dungeons… there isn’t even a purpose of any guild, only thing we can do is talk in guild and explore with them whilst not in a party. o3o
I don’t think I agree with this, unfortunately… sorry! D:
