Terrain moves like Misty Terrain should Power up the moves of that exact type, and weaken the one’s that it beats. For Fairy; Dragon Fighting and Dark. Those should be weakened in the power while the fairy’s goes up,
I feel like instead of the weaker type getting a down-grade, it should be the types that have they advantages over them.
I’m going to steal your Fairy-type here:
Fairy receives 2x damage (I think it’s 1.5x in PMU) from Steel attacks - Without Terrain.
Fairy receives normal damage from Steel attacks - With Terrain.
I like Lman"s take on it better.
I was thinking it could make an AoE sort of thing, and anything inside it gets buffed/debuffed.
And of course there"d be some sort of limit, like, whenever you reuse the move the old terrain vanishes and gets renewed in the new location.
I really like this idea. Although, I think to make it a large enough AOE to be viable, but small enough so it has to be strategically placed if you want the advantages it offers.
Although, if non-supereffective damage isn’t enough of an incentive to start using these, I don’t know. o3o
Sounds pretty nice if someone’s camping for XP, though.
Also, I guess that means you can train Pokemon with type weaknesses in [dungeon]!
This would be nice as the range of defog, since it can basically fill up the whole town/dungeon floor, but like to decrease trolls trying to annoy, it could go on mask or something and not fringe 1-2?
