Within this section, the same minimum of 12 characters for a thread title is still in effect, even though past threads were well below this amount due to just being the names of moves.
So, um… What’s the suggestion here? Have the minimum of 12 characters? Or remove the limit of 12 characters? I’m a bit confused.

A minimum length requirement was added to all threads. However, in this particular subforum I believe it to be a hindrance, and would like to see it removed.
Admittedly, I find the 12 character minimum to be arbitrary as-is, but I can understand why it might have been implemented.
It’s a site-wide setting that isn’t adjustable per-category. I believe the purpose is to encourage more descriptive titles so that people viewing the topic list can get an idea of what the thread is about before they dive in.
As far as this sub-category goes, I feel the most reasonable answer to dealing with this would be to discuss adjusting the required guidelines for new posts
