My friend and I are fans of the PMD series, but when we started playing PMU, we were disappointed by the real-time combat system.
We started thinking about an alternate form of playing this game, that being in a tabletop roleplaying style.
Our idea would be that players who want to connect and play with each other in this style could do so with peer-to-peer connection, and it would play out like a Dungeons & Dragons campaign but on the platform of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. All that would need to be done is for a platform to be created that we could do this on, and I’d be willing to try and help with this. I don’t know how much demand there is for it, but I would really enjoy seeing this kind of thing.
