So a long time ago me and a few other people threw out some ideas about weather.

So you know how there’s Weather Rocks like Smooth, Heat, Damp, and Icy?? Well what if there were more Weather Rocks? What kind of Weather Rocks you say? Well what about Clear Rock? A rock for clear weather (only works in places WITH weather). What about Cloud Rock? A rock for cloudy weather. What about a Snow Rock? A rock for Snow Weather. Therefore I believe this will be beneficial to people who use gems in the event plaza shop for different types of Pokemon (Speed Boost for Electric types in Cloudy Weather). What do you think?

I do like the idea, though I consider the clear rock a lil OP! I agree with the rest of them, however.

Yes, please, we need other weather rocks :!!: I remeber that Andy agreed with us and he said he’lll make other weather rocks which would ignore the negative effects, but will be useful for gems which need that type of weather, anyway after that he disappeared.

late response, but the Weather Band has the same effect as the aforementioned Clear Rock

every item listed should be very easy to add, all up to if staff want it or not(which i’m not against)

IIRC Weather Band is not a team item.
And it’s been promised for 2 years already and there’s no conceivable reason why those rocks should not be a thing.

I definitely support! This would encourage use of alot more Pokémon! Cloud Rock, Snowy Rock etc. is great, and I think it should work just like Smooth rock etc. That is, team effect during clear weather.

I can confirm what ArtMax said, Weather Band only has holder effect (and obviously, people would much rather hold an MC etc). So Clear weather rock? That’s a completely different question! Because having such a thing would make Cloud Nine a lot less requested. You could just combine Clear weather rock and another weather rock, no more weather issues for you (not your party members though). Should PMU take such a step? Up to discussion!

My opinion is, yes of course! Because Cloud Nine is too good and too common. Because Clear weather rock would be an item people would fight hard for since it’s so good, and motivate playing the game! Because too many PMUers have Altaria etc. When training together those ones are almost always on the team. I wish that the choice of what Pokémon we want to include in our team when training and exploring dungeons will be more free!

okay. should be an easy addition; although all i can do right now is make the items exist, but can’t release them.

if you’re holding cloudy rock(or what ever it’ll be called) will it reduce damage for the holder? since cloudy weather makes attacks weaker

but what about cloud nine?, swablu is really easy to get early and it has the ability

Well, since the rocks will be used most for gems to work, I think the negative effects should be ignored.

Yes, Icy and Smooth rock damages all team members unless they’re exceptions like type.

ArtMax says power is dependent on attacker’s weather, so yes. Although the idea is to disable the negative effects of cloud rock.

I can recolor heat rock in PS to match the weather for each one.

I would also like to contribute so just in case you need more rocks here’s an alternate version of the smooth rock, added 2 more crystals just so it looks a bit different

Can’t really suggest much, but I’m here to tell you that I LOVE when something is suggested and people start contributing to make it happen, really. This is how it should always be.
