What bird pokemon is your favorite?

well, what is it?
the birds are:
Swellow, Pidgeot, Archeops, Staraptor, Fearow, Noctowl, Unfezant and Braviary

you know, normal/flying. XD

my favorite is swellow. its epic.

Archeops isn’t normal/flying.
if we’re going with all normal/flying types, then the full list would be;

  • Pidgey, Pidgeotto, Pidgeot.
  • Spearow, Fearow.
  • Farfetch’d.
  • Doduo, Dodrio.
  • Hoothoot, Noctowl.
  • Taillow, Swellow.
  • Starly, Staravia, Staraptor.
  • Chatot.
  • Pidove, Tranquil, Unfezant.
  • Rufflet, Braviary.

Otherwise, if you’re looking for pokemon that resemble birds… Quite a few more could be included.

I have a particular soft spot for Noctowl and Braviary. C:

Noctowl in Platinum turns its head 180 degrees and looks at you when you send it out, and Braviary is just that mighty war eagle. (Hence its Japanese name Wargle.)

Personal fave, is Pidgeot.

She was my first ever pokemon (That I caught) in the first ever game I played. Named Zephyr after it’s meaning, and I mentally imagined it as a female.

She went with me all the way through the Elite Four.

I found her again in Soul Silver (not literally, I caught another Pidgey obviously) and fell in love once more. I managed to transfer over to Black and White, only to have her with me right now, a female, Lvl 100 with the moves:

Giga Impact
Steel Wing
Wing Attack (Used for the wild battles since it has a high PP)
Fly

Works for me. Not quite sure how I taught it Steel Wing…I think it was a tutor. Not too sure.

I love Noctowl. It’s mostly because it’s in my fav region.

I have to say Honchkrow is my favourite…I feel so different hahah.

However if we’re going with normal/flying I’d say Pidgeot.

I dislike bird types mainly. Plus, all the ones I like are mainstream.

I’ll go with Swellow since it’s the only bird type I can survive through an entire game with. I should really pick a Pokemon from my home region…

I’ve noticed how I never really answered this question… but neither was my previous post replied to.
If you’re allowing pokemon that aren’t -just- birds… then;

Skarmory would win me over.

Otherwise… Staraptor.

Togekiss would play an easy third place… but that doesn"t really resemble a bird either.
