its bad. awhile ago ppl in global were talking about it and i didnt think it was that bad til i checked and its bad.
i havent been to archford yet and i dont wanna try cause its bad
i gotta get lucky with prima and tox to get through 30 floors for surf and then do 28 floors in another dungeon for archford but if i screw up the archford dungeon i gotta do the surf one all over again and i dont wanna do that and i dont wanna spend 3500 coin on a spawn thats not gonna stick past reset the first few times
so can the shortcut just change so you need to beat the surf dungeon instead?
It’s a relic of when Mineral Cavern was like 8 floors so you didn’t save that much time. Even back then it’s a mystery why you unlock the shortcut after you prove you don’t need it (because outside of spamming either dungeon for shinies, there’s not a lot to do in that area after you finish SS and have Archford unlocked)
Now Mineral Cavern is 30 floors and it’s still not changed. Even after Southern Sea was expanded to 25 floors + 15 in the second part, that shortcut is still there when you don’t need it anymore.
the surf shortcut to Southern Outpost island should be changed now!!!
just need to have Mineral Cavern cleared so you can use it (instead of Southern Sea)
