Zekrom’s roar echoed like thunder.
Rehiram growled, holding onto Zekrom carefully.
“He’s escaped!” He cursed furiously upon Odin. “Stupid traitor!”
“Well now we know.”
“What?!”
“Alpha was right, Pokemon really are living with the humans.”
“Granted, but what about this curse he’s always blabbering on about? Not to mention those circles.”
“Circles?”
“Y’know. That circle thing he’s always blabbering on about whenever he’s alone.”
“What exactly does he talk about.”
“Dunno, something about lines and circles and centers. I dunno, he always shouts at me when I catch him talking to himself.”
Zekrom transformed mid air into his human form.
Reshiram was forced to let go.
“YOU IDIOT!” He snarled.
“What?” Zekrom spoke quietly and innocently.
“You land, THEN transform.”
“Oh, whoops.” He said, laughing to himself. He continued to fall, all the while laughing.
Reshiram growled. He glew a soft white, grabbing Zekrom by the collar.
“Eh eh, easy!”
He muttered something between his teeth. It was inaudible. He glided down gently, landing on the edge of the forest. Dropping Zekrom and flying off.
“Hey, hey what? Don’t leave me here!” Reshiram had all ready flown off. Darn it! He thought.
He put his hands in his pocket and sighed. “Guess I’m walking. NOT.”
He ran across the floor, transforming into Zekrom and bolting past Reshiram with a Bolt Strike. “Ain’t losin’ me that easy!” He shouted back to see the white dragon was no longer there.
“Eh? AH!”
Reshiram growled, smashing down on Zekrom’s head with his hand. “You could have killed me you blockhead!”
“Eh, it was a joke, i wouldn’t have hit you anyway.”
“You would have if I hadn’t moved!”
“EXACTLY!”
The two argued all the way back to Alpha’s castle.
I’ve gone through a fair share of battles in my days. But I’ve had to flee for the most of them. Pride equals nothing when you’re dead.
I eventually gathered my breath again when a young girl approached me. She must have been about 16-17. She had an air about her that told me she was no threat. But she wasn’t alone. I could see him, watching me from the distance. I didn’t know what he wanted, but I certainly didn’t like that glare.
The girl helped me up, but when I touched her hand I felt something. I suddenly felt drained of energy. I stumbled back, I was hit hard against a tree, he had come out of hiding. The boy was dressed in green and had two swords. One in each hand. I wondered why, with guns and such around, how can you defend yourself with things like that?
I was unable to talk with the boy pinning me against the tree. He shouted several demands at which I wasn’t able to hear. Then I heard the questions.
“You’re a Pokemon, what are you doing here? Are you a traitor?” I hadn’t managed to answer properly.
“What?” I replied, my voice was quiet and muffled.
“Where do you come from?” He spat.
“Twinleaf” I replied.
“Why are you here? To kill the humans?”
“What? No.” My throat hurt. He looked to the girl, who nodded.
The boy sighed and let me go. “Fine” He sheathed his swords, the young girl talked to me.
“Sorry about that.”
I began to wonder why they had attacked me…well, almost attacked.
They apologized at least. Turns out the girl was a transformed Gardevoir and the boy was her half brother, a half breed Gallade.
I only nodded as they talked.
Turns out they were part of a gang, a gang of both pokemon trying to rid the cities of ‘bad’ pokemon.
No pokemon is bad, but their motives may be inconvenient. Same with humans. We aren’t all that different really.
Humans fear what they do not understand. Pokemon flee from battles they cannot win. Only a fool will stand their ground.
Pride is nothing once you are dead.
The two talked for a while about their motives, and the sighting of the Zekrom that occurred recently.
They went on to talk about someone named Alpha.
He’s apparently the reason the humans are being killed, making the suffering of us all the worse.
If these two were right about this Alpha guy, then he must be the one who started all this pain and torture.
They continued to talk about ideals and their goals. We had sat there for quite a while, then they offered em a place in the gang, seeing that I was no threat. Turns out they’re searching for members. I figured there was no harm, but I had to decline. They took it well, but they did seem a bit annoyed. I just remained silent, watching them walk off, back towards the city.
Could the day get any weirder?
The gun shots were right on my tail, I ran as fast as I can, but I could not dodge things I couldn’t see.
One lightly grazed my hind left leg. I winced, but I couldn’t stop, I mustn’t. There was a howl in the distance. Suicune standing atop the hill, his head high, a crimson arc above his shoulder. He collapsed on the spot.
Raikou woke up in a cold sweat, gasping for air. He looked around, it was dark. He must have fallen asleep while he was watching the children. The playground was empty. One of the boys was hanging onto his mane, asleep in the safety of his fur.
Slowly he stood himself up, making sure the small child would not fall off. He walked back to the center of the town, to the orphanage.
Sally clasped her hands to her chest. “Aww Jake.” She picked up the small child, who was rubbing his eyes.
“Thank you Raikou.”
“I’m sorry, I must have dozed off.” He said, still in his beast form.
“It’s alright, as long as he’s safe.” Said the woman, ribbing the child’s hair. She walked back inside and shut the door.
Raikou stood outside, wondering what to do now. It was probably about 8PM by the position of the moon.
He walked away towards the lake, scratching the floor with his claws.
There was a click and a whir in the distance. A familiar noise, but it was not what he thought. Thank goodness.
The porch light had just turned on as he walked past. He almost thought it was the guns again. Then he remembered.
He transformed into his human form, hopefully no-one was around anyway. The trees and forestry was closely packed together. He saw Suicune by the lake, standing in the center, watching the moon.
“Show off.” Raika sat down on the rocks beside the lake.
Suicune walked towards the human Raikou.
“Well, I didn’t exactly expect you.” Suicune walked off the lake, transforming back into his human form.
He sat down beside Raikou.
“Oh. Expecting someone special?” He joked.
Genshuku (Suicune’s human name) just tutted at him, ignoring the remark.
“Wanna race?”
“Raika.” Suicune was starting to get annoyed.
“Fine, you’re no fun anyway.” Raika stood up and walked back to town, leaving his brother to sit there alone.
He heard whispers. He turned around to see that he had company. Genshuku was talking to a human, a girl to be specific.
He chuckled to himself as he walked on. Stupid dog
Entei was awoken to find Raikou leaning on his back.
“Whadya want.” He mumbled, he kept his head down.
“Wanna race?” Entei mumbled under his breath, he was unsure what he said, but it certainly felt like a no.
Raika barked. He crossed his arms and leant back, putting his head on Entei’s back, staring up at the old rusty roof of the old warehouse.
