It was another day on PMUniverse Chat. A bunch of us had finished some battles and then we just chatted as usual. I was thinking, “wouldn’t it be cool to have a PMU Wiki?”
Ralin joined in and said “I would make the Wiki if everyone wanted it.”
Of course it’s hard work, but a few of us would pitch in.
So, you, the PMU Community, would you like a PMU Wiki?
Like Agunimon said I’m willing to make it. Even with all of the Help topics we could gather all that info up onto one website wouldn’t that be awesome? all of you better say yes because I know where you all sleep…In your beds…
Well, as I have told people before (both in chats and other topics), it would be nice to have a Wiki dedicated to PMU, but the only problem is (At least if it is only based around PMU7) that there isn’t enough content to fill an entire wiki. You could potentially do it if said wiki included good player guides, references to PMU6 and Stoneage, and other things along those lines… (TM locations and what not, like someone suggested in the chatango.)
It is a good idea, but the main problem is lack of content to fill a wiki, in my opinion… Not only that, but you would need a good few people just to make the Wiki.
Well, I suppose it comes down to the community, like the PMU podcast I feel this is really something the members of the community should work on instead of the staff team. (Although if needed we could review the Wiki and fix any false/incomplete information if possible.
Well, best of luck to you guys if you do happen to start on this.

I don’t know about this… But if It’s something different, then I’m willing to try it as well. It wouldn’t hurt to test it out. If you need help, I’d love to join in spare time.
Provided nobody is silly about it, and writes stuff on the page about me. /shot
Yeah, not a bad idea. I was intending to make a list of all available items (this was last year, the list would be a great accomplishment now… considering the amount of items to add to the list.)
I agree with this idea. It could redirect player’s to actually teach them techniques and available pokemon throughout the game all on a single website instead of being scattered around the forums. It would provide neat organization and the experienced player’s could pitch in and give tips and ideas on the wiki site itself… I would pitch in myself.
The only negative is: Most of the forum sections would be removed and just redirected to the site. Which is ok in my opinion. Not sure about the staffs but it’s their opinions that matters as well.
Maybe just for staff, because not to start a flame war or sound offending, but if we made a page like that some players could take it differently, like “OH HE’S NOT BETTER THAN US!” or like… yeah. It could lead to arguments and jealousy so~ Just a pointer imo.
We might do a little short on staff, like a Staff list and a former Staff list but not into detail on players. I don’t want them to be stalked or anything as well. :3
It sounds like a great idea, it would be a very useful thing to have, especially for newer players. It will probably be a huge project so I’ll help out if you want. Anyway, good luck with this!
Sounds fantastic! I think it would be good to have a compilation of everything. Such as guides to the game, dungeon guides, locations of Pokemon and items.
Also it would be interesting, as Yatterman said, to look into the history of PMU.
And of course, as a Wiki, all of us could contribute things to it.
