Not only does Mt. Barricade have one of the furthest entry points from a spawn point, but it also has two “useless” tents in a short distance (see picture above). I suggest making one a rest stop, let me know your thoughts on this.
Can save at tanren inn > tanren tunnel > barricade

A few people suggested this in global, and the common consensus was, that it is only slightly faster that way, and sometimes the same or longer if NPCs get in the way. I mean there are tents literally there serving no purpose, I don’t see how it would hurt to turn one into a rest stop, especially considering Mt. Barricade is rather popular especially with the addition of shinies.
Edit: I have now timed it and confirm the difference is VERY minimal.

as the person who has run this dungeon probably 500+ times total now, i’d very much like to have any of these tents as a rest stop, just to make the way there a bit faster, since it’s the one thing that’s the MOST tedious about the whole ordeal - not to mention that going from crossroads is now slower since u-turn cannot be used in town

There is now a rest house (it’s one of the tents)!
