the multi battle tourney still has the problem of carrying multi-attack moves. for example, earthquake is practically the only viable physical ground type attack(hahaha, bulldoze and dig suck) and if you carry it you’re hindering other people. should be a single battle. plus, wth is with 12 people? 12 people can’t be divided if the tourney’s 1 v 1, and one person will get a free pass which is kind of unfair.

Hi. I go by many names, usually Rumi (a name of a philsopher and also short for an old alias, Ruminator) or Remi - or as I’m referred to by this thread, WanderingStars of Chatango.
That account is long gone. It was based on a roleplay universe of mine that is no more, due to a falling out with a friend I have been enduring for a few months. I’ll migrate and spend my time here, hopefully to successfully get my mind off of things.
This drama combined with the fact I work a full time job made it really difficult to get much of anything done. For instance, I host Starbound 24/7 for the gym leader chat on skype, but out of the ~330 hours Steam says I’ve played, ask them how much they’ve seen me play. (Spoilers: it’s probably about an hour)
I’ll post in this thread again when I’m ready to accept challengers. I hope to have that be in the next few coming days.

Can I suggest something to make this even cooler?
What if, someone drew a little tiny badge case thing (Blank of course) and also drew 8 badges.
When someone defeats a gym leader, they can download the blank badge case picture (type in their name at the top)
and download the picture of the specific badge they won.
(I am saying to add it all onto one picture to save space in people’s signatures, and there is a word limit. and maybe a picture limit)
–However, people could easily just add all of the badges to their badge case and pretend they have beat it. But who in the PMU community would do that? It is a smaller, and friendly community, and if anyone fakes it, they are just embarrassing themselves.
The Badge case should just say “The PMUniverse League” and have a spot for people to add in their name manually, and it should also have 8 spots for easy addition of badges. And maybe even a space to add their own sprite or custom avatar?

[b] To anyone and everyone who is or will be attempting the PMU Gym Leader campaign, following today, we will be implementing the “Badge system”, in which challengers will be awarded a Badge image to display when given the time.
All past and future challengers will be given a Badge Case template, free to customize as one sees fit. It will come in two parts- the Exterior template and the Interior template (Blue and Black for Boys, Pink and White for Girls). However the Interior MUST be the same as the Exterior, no exceptions.
To receive a Badge image to put into the Interior, just issue a challenge to the Gym Leader you wish to battle, and defeat them, just like you would always do. Issue the challenge via Skype, their personal Chatango account or PM them from the Forums.
To input a Badge, open up any image editing program like Paint Tool SAI, GIMP or Paint.Net, bring the Badge Case’s Interior template and any Badge images you’ve earned, resize the Badge image and fit into the Badge case. Make sure you leave room for at least seven more Badges! Keep in mind to always have a spare image file of your Badge Case Interior, if you customized it. If you need any help with doing so, contact me, and I’ll put it in for you. If you have multiple Badges you’d like to have put in, PM me a link to you Badge Case Exterior and Interior, and list the Badges you’ve earned in an exact order.
We do not tolerate anyone copying someone else’s Badge case and roster of Badges. And we DO keep a list of all challengers for each Gym Leader, those who’ve beaten us, waiting to battle and waiting for a rematch. Meaning that anyone who will attempt to copy the Badges from someone else despite not earning them WILL be disqualified or banned from the campaign.
Once you have all eight Badges, show Photon your Badge case Exterior AND Interior, with every Badge in there, and you’ll be granted permission to challenger the Elite 4 members and attempt to take on our Elite 4 Champion! (This is for AFTER we have decided our Elite 4 and Champion.)
For any challengers who have beaten a Gym Leader before this system was put into effect, alert me on Skype and I will send you the respective Badge image.

Formal announcement as of today, The Gym Leader Pikamaster will be replaced by our friendly neighborhood mod Skarow. As of now you can challenge Gym Leaders in any order.

If you’re doing <20%~ with moves that are at least 2x (4x against X-Zard) against a mon with 78/85(115) defenses then I think you’re either using a terrible pokemon, or a terrible pokemon
