Warrior cats Role-play: Real Role-Play!

Longflegs: “Good, It looks like he is helping the apprentices learn to catch a chaffinch like we do, me and him.”

Buster from a few tail lengths away says “And then you pin the Chaffinch down, and claw at it’s hard beak, then it passes out!”

Apprentices: “Wow!”

Buster: “Then, while it’s out cold, you dig into the fat Chaffinches chest, and pull out it’s heart.”

Longlegs: “Don’t mind him, really, he likes 5 other kittypets, one of the cats he likes happens to you, I can tell you are off balance, but please keep to your duty normally.” he sighs… “Yes, I care for you too, but not in the way he does…”

OOC: lol, it’s funny so far! :D

Leafpaw nodded and sat down. Everyone in the Clan should care for each other. It’s like we’re one big family.

She began to watch Buster and his chaffinch-hunting lesson.

In the forest, Redstar stared directly at his deputy, waiting for her answer. The only sounds he could hear, currently, were his own breathing, Mistygaze’s breathing, and the chirping thrush.

OOC: Last post tonight, 9:30 something PM

IC: Longlegs looked at where Leafpaw was looking and noticed his brother coming. “If you want to meet me later, meet me behind the nursery, but keep quiet, we go at sunhigh tomorrow.”

(OOC: All right then, good night.)

The brown-and-white she-cat sighed, not caring who Longlegs’ sentence was directed at, but making a mental note of his small speech. She then padded off to go hunting.

Buster: “where are you going?”

Longlegs: “I’m going to see if I can find another, SMALLER, chaffinch…” he grunts.

Buster: “Can I help?”

Longlegs: “I need to go alone!”

Buster: “B-But… B-B-But…” he begins to cry.

Longlegs: “Why don’t you go see your ‘owners’ to see if they’re okay…”

Buster: “fine…” he grunts and leaves his brother alone…

OOC: I like it again, how it’s going… :3

OOC Edit: i forgot to finish! :3

Buster goes to meet his old friends.

Longlegs bumps into Leafpaw “Oh, I’m sorry…” he says after he drops his chaffinch.

(OOC: Wait, wait, wait…I’m confused. This isn’t the forest where the canon Clans live–it’s Reid’s own Clans, so they probably don’t live anywhere near Smudge or Cody. Also…Leafpaw isn’t Leafpool from the actual books–she’s just an OC of mine. And Firestar was a kittypet named Rusty. Redstar wasn’t ever a kittypet. :P Just pointing it out…so could you fix your post a bit?)

Leafpaw crept across the forest floor, amber eyes fixed on a nearby thrush. The she-cat then readied her pounce, and lunged at the bird, grabbing its tail.

It began to flap, trying to get away, and just for a second, she looked up and let go of the tail. In a frenzy of feathers and claws, the thrush managed to glide away.

Leafpaw sighed, shaking her head and sitting down on the roots of a tree, her tail wrapped neatly around her paws.

Longlegs: “Oops… Did I let the thrush get away…? Sorry about that…” he says, then sighs.

Buster is still chatting with his old friends: “So, L, How’s it going?”

Longlegs: “I’m sorry leafpaw… Want to come back to the camp? I have a squirrel back there that I put away to get later, You can have it if you want… I was thinking we could eat on the tree stump near the elders den…”

Longlegs sighs. “Would you want to?”

Buster: “Well, I’m gonna go find my brother…”

Buster pads back into the forest, but along his way, he gets attacked by a StormClan Warrior, but he does not escape, and when the warrior drags him away, he places him on the thunderpath, and he is run over by the jet black paw of a big monster, and strangely, it has 16 paws, and it was alot larger than normal monsters…

Longlegs: “Leafpaw, I can sense something is wrong, my brother is hurt!” He closes his eyes, focuses, and sees a view of a dark place with a lot of shiny warriors.

Longlegs sobs “Hes dead, I can tell…” His head falls on his chaffinch, and he sobs so loudly, and harshly, that Leafpaws paws get soaked…

OOC: I wanted to make a new character… xD Sorry for people who are sad… 0.0

She took a step forward, crouching so that her head was level with Longlegs’. “Hey, hey…it’s all right,” she mewed softly. “Buster will be fine, I think. I hope.” The ‘I hope’ was hushed, under the white she-cat’s breath.

“If he is dead…he’s with StarClan. Even if others don’t do a vigil tonight for him, I’ll do one with you. Sound good?”

Longlegs: “He has a special bond with me because our old Twolegs put computerised chips in our minds to help us keep contact with them, but now it stopped with them, and started to work with us…”

Longlegs took a deep breath… “I saw Buster, and all the old warriors from MammothClan, and SaberClan. And all our fallen warriors sense then…”

He begins to sob again. “They were all like sparkles, every single one of them, but before I saw that, he had a few last words, and there was a monster that was HUGE with 16 MASSIVE PAWS!!!” He is all excited about his new discovery, but then his heart drops when he remembers again… “He was layed on the road by a stormclan warrior, the one who killed the kit in the foxtrap, Buster saw him do it, and I saw him too, through the sight of Buster…”

Longlegs begins to wail like a kit with a dead mother… “I LOST HIM!!!”

He cries even louder, and he looks up at Leafpaw then stops. He says under his breath loud enough for her to hear "I’m glad you will sit in vegil with me at least…

Leafpaw nodded sympathetically, pondering over Longlegs’ description of StarClan. She licked her paw thoughtfully, her whiskers twitching. The apprentice then sat up straight, her tail curling around her paws once again.

Longlegs: “Thank you…”

Back at the camp~

Longlegs and Leafpaw sit in the center of the camp, saying their last words, though Buster is not in the camp with them, and then Leafpaw picks up the squirrel Longlegs offered her, and Longlegs picks up his thrush, and they pad up to the tree stump.

Longlegs: “I’m happy we could spend time together again…” He twists his tail around hers “I’m happy that your here with me…”

He sighs and looks up at Silverpelt “They are going to have a good time with buster tonight, saying that he arrived, He found a new type of monster…”

OOC: I had to edit…

Leafpaw remained almost completely still, her ears twitching as she observed the nearest tree. However, the brown-and-white she-cat couldn’t help but flinch just a tiny bit when Longlegs entwined his tail with hers; but she did not make a move to stop him.

She observed Silverpelt, sure that she could see one more star added to the clump. Speaking of stars, when are Redstar and Mistygaze returning? Dapplekit’s ceremony was to be today…

Longlegs: “I just noticed you seem upset, should I stop?” He is about to move his tail away…

The apprentice shook her head, mouthing the words “It’s fine”.

(OOC: Short post is short. ;n;)

Longlegs mouths to her: “I do sorta like you…” then he removes his tail from hers and covered his mouth hoping she did not notice.

Leafpaw didn’t see Longlegs mouth the words; she had resumed looking at the tree closest to them; scanning it up and down with her amber eyes.

He taps Leafpaws shoulder with his tail, then leaps to her other side with his long legs when she looks over, then when she looks beck he jumps to the other spot just in time, then he taps her shoulder again, and he lets her see.
“Gotchya!” he laughs.

She shook her head, somewhat dizzy, but afterwards the white cat looked up and smiled. Redstar and Mistygaze had better return soon…

Leafpaw’s mentor padded up to them. “Hello, Longlegs; hello, Leafpaw.” She tilted her head. “What might you two be doing right now?”

Longlegs: “We were just talking and looking at silverpelt… Should I go? If you two need to train at Moonhigh some nights, I dont really care, I’m tired anyways…”

He pretends to yawn ,very realisticly, and then he pads slowly to the warriors den, but he takes a right turn when her mentor is not looking, and he goes behind the nursery, hoping to continue talking.

The older cat looked a bit puzzled, and after watching Longlegs walk away, she turned to Leafpaw. “I’m keeping a vigil,” her apprentice mouthed.

The warrior was about to ask ‘Who died?’, but she did not; instead she sat on the stump with Leafpaw. “I’ll stay with you. Longlegs went to sleep, anyway…Tomorrow we’ll do something a little less difficult than what we learned today.”

Leafpaw was about to object, knowing that Longlegs had padded behind the nursery, but she remained silent.
